Need to create a job analysis for sales with a company that will provide full service cleaning solutions for organizations in the health care industry.
******************
Thanks for the question Deb. If anyone has an analysis to share, feel free to send it along.
Here are some starting points;
1) This person must have some knowledge of the industry and products so either you must require it of them when the come on board or you must be willing to train them as they go.
2) They must have knowledge of how to sell to the health care industry. My suggestion here is to be a bit more descriptive here. Are you talking about large institutions like Hospitals or would you also look at Labs? Many colleges have labs doing research on health care have different purchasing requirements than hospitals. Hospitals often buy their goods through exchanges where they group together to get volume discounts. This again is a different type of sale.
My suggestion is your focus on who can satisfy your ideal client profile in terms of how to effectively penetrate the market then back fill through training or support about the specific supplies or services you provide.
Hope that helps you get started with you job analysis for a sales person for cleaning company in the health care industry. Feel free to show your draft and let us know what you come up with.
